He was killed not only by an idiot but also by ‘self-esteem’ … (it’s just my personal opinion)

This year, we lost Steve Jobs. Then I met some persons  who told me it was such a shocking thing reminds the death of the man died on Dec 8.

The Beatles was the very first music that I experienced. Actually, I’ve been listening to their music since my mom became a pregnant.

and… John Lennon, he was the very first man that inspired my life. the very first man who taught me what is life / love & consciousness.

Pinnacle of my passion to the Beatles and Lennon was from my age of 8 - 12. (but I still love listening to their music of course)

After that I became a huge fan of the Beach Boys + Brian Wilson, that is a starting point of my music-life.

Anyway, John Lennon is still, such a ‘big’ to me. His message is always in my heart. My political view is influenced by him, clearly.

We experienced (no! ‘are experiencing’) a huge earthquake and nuclear power-plant issues this year.

How many times that I imagined… if John Lennon was still alive.

If I could spare enough time, I will be spending hours listening to his solo and the Beatles album today. (oh, I got his box last year! :) )

Rest in peace, John Lennon.

(P.S. - My grandpa met John Lennon and Yoko Ono in late 1970s, at coffee shop in Tsukiji Fish Market. He’s still alive, over 80yrs)

(P.S. 2 - Yoko Ono is in Japan now, and she’s going to do a gig with some JPN musicians at BUDOKAN. I think she’s a talented artist.)

Now 3am. Listening to me + @Ade_JPN ambient remix of “Beautiful Boy” (not available), and going to bed. Thank you John Lennon, good night!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This song is a wonderful homage to the Beatles’ “I’ve Got a Feeling” by a German electronic+folk duo, Marz. I really love this song and the lyric is so straight. Once Yellow Magic Orchestra (HASYMO) covered this homage in 2007.

Me and Atsushi Degawa were so much into this song that we used to play this on our Melting Pot Duo deejay set. Then fortunately we could get contact with the vocalist, Alberecht Kunze. It’s one of our beautiful memories. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDDXjYWTAsA - Marz / Everybody Had a Hard Year)
