The Beach Boys Reunion.
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Dec. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — The founding members of The Beach Boys, one of the world’s most legendary bands in popular music history, will reunite for a global 50th Anniversary CELEBRATION in 2012. Beach Boys Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks will come together for a new studio album and commemorative catalog releases with Capitol/EMI and a 50-date international tour to begin in April with a headlining performance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (“Jazz Fest”) as well as other exciting events to be announced.

Here comes the ‘webisode 2’ of the Beach Boys’ “SMiLE SESSIONS” documentary film. U guyz bought your own copy of the album? Which version?

Why didn’t they include one dvd or blu-ray disc at the gorgeous SMiLE boxset? I would love to have five cds, two lps, two 45s, and some booklets. But it would have been much more great, if they attached one visual disc.

My “SURF’s UP 1967” at iTunes Plus…
I bought entire 2cd version of SMiLE Sessions - The Beach Boys at iTunes plus. It’s so thrilling that it contains much visuals with games and lyrics. But unfortunately, one of the track “Surf’s Up 1967” includes much digital noises and also, very jumpy. It sounds extremely terrible, awful. I got the 1-CD version of the SMiLE sessions (which was made in Japan), and it doesn’t contain digital noises and never jump.
I suppose, some people are faced with the same situation doesn’t it? How’s your iTunes plus file? Does it sound well?

He talks to us about how they decided which takes of songs to use for the “estimation” of the SMiLE LP on disc one, if it is ever possible to release a stereo mix of “Good Vibrations,” and which song he was the proudest of helping put together. He also describes what specific role he and co-producer Mark Linett had in helping piece together the SMiLE Sessions.
